Hi All.
I would appreciate some help on this one. I found a spare 160GB SATA Drive on which I have decided to install a trial of Win 10 to explore it further for now.
The only way that I could get this HD to be seen in the BIOS would be to change the SATA Bios setting from AHCI to IDE. Which I subsequently did and installed win 10. However changing the BIOS SATA setting back to AHCI brings up a boot error.
How can I now install the AHCI Driver so that I boot using AHCI mode going forward. My mainboard is a Intel DH67BL.

If it should be an 'AHCI compatible RAID driver', you cannot simply update the driver, because your AMD SATA Controller is currently running in RAID mode, but the new driver needs an AMD SATA Controller, which has been set to 'AHCI'. A Windows 8.1 x64 install on my board receives a MS AHCI driver not an AMD driver. Today I tried updating to the AMD driver with resulted in a BSOD so I restored from an image file. Install of the AMD ACHI driver to Windows 7 x64 on 700 series South Bridges would also fail but there was a known work around by editing the INF file. A Windows 8.1 x64 install on my board receives a MS AHCI driver not an AMD driver. Today I tried updating to the AMD driver with resulted in a BSOD so I restored from an image file.
